Many people have definitely borrowed money from PalmPay in Nigeria. These people are either not willing to repay their loan or not interesting in paying back. In this case, PalmPay has a list called “The Debtors and Wanted List”.
This List contains the names of people owning PalmPay. However, it’s important to note that this list cannot go out of PalmPay company. In other words, it cannot be revealed to the public for disgrace or embarrassment.
The worse that PalmPay can do to retrieve their loans is by visiting your house or sending harassment messages to your contact list. Although, it’s not happening again because Nigeria government has stopped all the loan apps from harassing their customers.
The government mandates appropriate ways to retrieve loans. These include: legal actions, lawsuits, reporting to the credit bureau and implementation of daily interest fees. These measures are in place to ensure all money loaned out are recovered successfully.
In conclusion, there’s nothing like PalmPay Wanted List or PalmPay Debtors List in the general public. Although, it might be in used within PalmPay company to identify debtors, but it cannot get out of the company to the general public.
