The process can be done on Moniepoint’s personal banking app or business banking app. However, it’s important to let you know that buying or selling of data cannot be done on Moniepoint POS. The feature is not integrated on the payment terminal.
To sell data for your customers as a Moniepoint POS agent, you will need to login to your POS business app and utilize the “Buy Airtime and Data” option in the app dashboard. Here’s how to do it.
How to Buy Data on Moniepoint POS App
Every Moniepoint Agents in Nigeria have a business ACC account. Whether you’re a merchant or a POS agent, you can only manage your inventory and cash delivery services through Moniepoint Business Account.
In other words, your services are being managed using your business account. For example, Moniepoint agents can manage the activities their POS machine directly from their business account.
However, there are some activities that are not available on the Moniepoint POS machine but are available on the business banking app. Example of this activity is the “purchase of data and airtime”. You will need to login to your business account via web or app to buy data.
Buying Data on Moniepoint POS App
Follow these steps to buy data on your Moniepoint POS App:
- Login to your business account via Moniepoint business banking app or via atm.moniepoint.com.
- Tap “Buy Data” on the homepage and input your phone number.
- Select the “bundle of data” you want to buy from the available options.
- Confirm the payment with your PIN
- Receive your data and the amount for the data will be deducted from your Moniepoint balance.
