Amazon has announced another price increase for its Music Unlimited subscription service. The rise will affect both individual and family plans. Prime members will now pay $11 a month or $109 a year for an individual plan, up from $10 and $99. Non-Prime members, Listeners, will see their monthly price rise from $11 to $12.

The Family plan is also getting more expensive, increasing from $17 to $20 per month and from $169 to $199 per year. Amazon says the increase is due to rising costs and efforts to improve the service.

However, according to the FAQ detailing the price increase, Listeners will be brought with “more content and features.” This is the same excuse the company gave when they raised subscription fees in 2023.

The new prices have already taken effect in January 29, 2025. Existing customers will see the change in their next billing cycle on or after March 5.
