The Trump Media and Technology Group—Truth Social parent company—has announced on Wednesday that its leaders have signed a deal to launch a financial services subsidiary and FinTech brand called “Truth.Fi.” Truth.Fi is an ETFs and Crypto platform.
According to Fortune, TMTG will invest $250 million for a start. TMTG said Charles Schwab will provide custody of the money and the money will be used for normal investment methods, special types of funds called ETFs, and digital currencies like Ethereum, Tether and Bitcoin.
President Donald Trump owns the majority shares of TMTG. The company’s diversification into financial technology landscape and cryptocurrency space follow closely to his election into the White House and the rise of pro-crypto lawmakers, which boosted BTC prices and other altcoins.
Truth.Fi is the latest digital asset in TMTG’s portfolio. During Trump’s campaign, he strongly supported digital assets and aimed to make the United States the "crypto capital of the planet."
TMTG also has other digital assets in its portfolio. The company started with Truth Social and in 2024, it expanded into video streaming services—using a free, standalone app called Truth+.
Truth.Fi products and services will be rolled out to the general public in 2025 after funding levels are determined and necessary approvals by financial regulators are secured, the company said.
